Rauf is a microfinance practitioner and a specialist in coaching for group formation, group management, group sustainability, clients’ education and loan recovery techniques. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at the University of Cape Coast. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Banking and Finance option and Diploma in Community Development.
Rauf has over 16 years’ experience in microfinance and Rural Banking. He has trained and coached staff of several microfinance institutions and rural banks in effective group management based on Credit and Savings with Education (CSWE) and Village Savings and Loans (VSL) models across the country
Rauf was a key player in the transformation of the Microfin Plus Ghana, as FNGO to Microfin Rural Bank. He rose through the ranks in Microfin from being a Field Officer, a Microfinance Coordinator to Head of Microfinance and is currently the Credit Manager.
