Richard started his banking career in 1987 with the liquidated Ghana Co-operative Bank Ltd. for 13 years and rose from various positions to a Branch Accountant till the year 2000 when the liquidation was effected. He joined a private company called Payroll Financial Services Ltd.in 2000.
In 2005 he had an appointment with the Amenfiman Rural Bank as a Branch Accountant. In June 2006, He joined the North Tongu Rural Bank ltd. in the Volta region as the Assistant Manager. He was the Branch Manager at Ho and later headed the head office branch. Whilst there he gained admission to the Central University College to pursue Bsc. Banking and Finance in 2007.
He had another appointment in April 2008 as the Internal Auditor at Mepe Area Rural Bank ltd. In 2011, He again joined the Akim Bosome Rural Bank Ltd. at head office in the Central Accounts Department for a short period and was transferred to Kade as the Branch Manager. In 2013, he was transferred to Asamankese branch for 2 years as the Branch Manager. In March, 2015 he joined -Microfin Rural Bank in April as the Internal Auditor.
He is currently the head of Internal Audit. Richard has experience in banking policies, risk management, analyze new lending proposals and negotiating terms, uphold the highest quality of services through various control checks appropriate segregation of duties.
