Michael Obeng-Nyadu is the Acting Head of Internal Audit at Microfin Community Bank PLC, bringing over a decade of experience in banking operations, internal auditing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
He began his banking career with Nyakrom Rural Bank PLC, where he served as a Senior Audit Officer, gaining extensive experience in internal controls, financial auditing, and operational risk assessment. He later joined Odukpongkpehe Rural Bank PLC as Acting Internal Auditor, where he played a key role in strengthening governance processes, enhancing internal control systems, and promoting regulatory compliance.
He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Cape Coast Technical University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
As an accomplished banking professional, he possesses strong expertise in value-for-money auditing, risk-based audit planning, financial analysis, and business process improvement. He is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and sound corporate governance practices while supporting the Bank’s strategic objectives and sustainable growth.
